Paul has been a motion-graphics artist, video editor & 3D effects creator for over ten years. Since going freelance in October of 2008, his only regret is that he never did it sooner.

Paul has worked on many corporate campaigns, TV commercials, web-videos, and more recently comic-book trailers. He has freelanced at several prominent studios such as Nickelodeon, Saachi & Saachi, and Leo Burnett. He also teaches design at JMC Academy.

His grab-bag of tools includes many much-loved applications such as Final Cut Pro, Premiere, After Effects, Maya, Photoshop, and Illustrator, but he is an advocate for Free & Open-Source Software (FOSS) and adds Blender, GIMP and Krita to that list. He uses FOSS in his personal as well as professional work.

Aside from freelancing as a motion graphics designer, he is the author and illustrator behind Pandeia – a sci-fi action/adventure comic set in Earth’s Distant future. He frequently appears in local conventions, selling his comics and drawing commissions for passer’s by.

Paul lives in Sydney with his wife and two daughters.
