I’ve added a new tutorial to my on-going Video Editing in Blender series – how to add and animate lower third and text overlays. I demonstrate two methods which have their own pros and cons: Using 3D text objects, and using the text effect strip directly within the VSE. Each has their own pros and cons which are discussed in the video. Overall, the process is relatively simple, and you can generate eye-catching and professional results for your own videos.
The working files are freely available via this Patreon post (video content not included) so you can follow along, or just take my screen layouts to streamline your own video editing process.
